Thank goodness everyone's returned to their normal selves. It was a lot of hard work looking after you all, but it was oddly fun while it lasted. And, I admit, it's interesting to see what these children look like as adults. Some of them haven't changed at all ( Read more... )

Thankfully, not from what I could tell. You were just as energetic and cheerful as ever.

You did have five hamburgers on your plate when I saw you at dinner the other night... so I'd say yes, you did.

I am new here, too! It is really strange to see everybody different after just meeting them.

I agree. I'm just glad everyone's returned to normal for the most part.

I understand that you were busy with all the children, so I didn't mind. It's been fine for the most part, really - I'm just a little lost at how this town works. My sister gave me an introduction, but it was somewhat... incomplete, for lack of a better word.

Thank you. For starters, I'm wondering about our memories. I'm right in thinking that I'm not the only amnesiac here, correct? The children didn't seem to think so, so I wasn't completely sure.

Most of the other adults just think it was a pain, but I enjoyed myself quite a bit, looking after all of the children!

The dance is a bit... forced. They say you don't have to go, but then they also say that you don't get to eat for a week if you don't attend. It really makes me wonder if whoever plans these things is trying to be funny or not.

You won't be able to eat for a whole week?

... I'm guessing Sis will probably be going there in a heartbeat. And I should probably attend myself. It doesn't sound like a fun punishment.

Thanks for your help with the kids. You came to the island during an unusually stressful time; I'm glad you've come out of it looking so unfazed.

My name's Ginko. Sorry, I saw you in the daycare often, but didn't get a chance to say hello.

It was no problem, really. I enjoyed looking after them. I'm honestly somewhat sad that some of them aren't kids anymore.

Last week looked like it was stressful on everyone, so it's no big deal. I'm Mia. It's nice to meet you.

Heh... Some of them were certainly a little more personable as kids. I'm glad that they've remembered how they live on this island and that they aren't supposed to be with their parents. That was tough...

It's nice to meet you, too, Mia. If you've got any questions about how things work around here, don't hesitate to ask. I've been here for over half a year now, so hopefully my experience can serve some sort of purpose.

I can imagine. Miles too constantly insisted that we were kidnapped and that we had to go look for them. If nothing else, it did pass the time.

Ah, thank you. I actually wouldn't mind asking you about these odd occurrences. Do they happen often? Like the children and something about a candy town...?
