If I get hired I would be on reserve so it could be anything, international or domestic. They do require a passport so there's hope for international flights. They have a lot of domestic flights though so it could go both ways. Unfortunately I wouldn't be able to choose my work until I'm out of reserve which may take years.
I don't consider it settling if you have something good enough and you're not sure if the other option is better. More money doesn't necessarily mean better work. I know whatever you decide will be good. And it will be best for you, because you don't often make random decisions (as random as you can be), you weigh out all the pros and cons. Unfortunately I'm not sure about flight attendants, but - what have you got to lose? Apply and see what happens. Worst comes to worst you can apply and they don't pick you up, right? And you like your current job now, but there's never anything wrong with trying for better. Perhaps you should see what kind of dress code and limits they'll have before you apply.
Though they do have better payments, it's actually not the money that's my motivation, it's the possibility of getting off this island, which if I get hired, is pretty high. I would have bills to pay and my cash would go there, but I would have my own place which I really want and I think I would be able to afford it with that job, which I can't afford now... Most of all I want out of here. I'll apply and see, I'll keep everyone informed.
Good luck Mikari-chan! I figured money wasn't your prime motivation but it really needs to be considered because of bills and such. I hope it works out for you. ;_; *hug*
There should be wireless on the airports/hotels and -must- bring a laptop because I know I'll die without one. I would still be online every now and then, just not with as much of a great connection. I don't let people stress me so it's no big deal I deal with upset customers who missed the flight or don't want to stand in line to check in all the time. XD I applied so all that's left to do is wait.
Flight attending sounds fun! I would get sick of being away from home so much. I'd miss Huck. But, as a single person with no animals, it could be a lot of fun.
I'm sick of being around my parents and though I'm not much of a tourist I've realize that the things that keep me here are things I can pack in a carry on and take with me so hopefully they'll call me, nothing is certain but I'll try.
