Yeah, she totally needs to speak up! The funny thing is that she was thinking about it, realizing that what she sensed from Valen wasn't just honor and duty as she had thought. But really Euphe, unlike you Valen isn't an empath, you need to speak up.
speaking of empaths, the empath ability is quite useful in this game. She can heal, but loses HP in exchange, however, she can heal a lot more than what she gives up. Magic and other abilities require mana and you an accumulate up to 1000 mana. Level 3 Heal costs 300 mana, but the empath ability costs 100 and she can heal as well as Lv 3 Heal magic. Usually I have her heal all the others, then heal her with Lv 2 Heal magic (because she doesn't loose enough HP to need Lv 3) and I can heal the entire party with 500 mana instead of needing 1200 to cast Lv 3 heal on everyone, which means I'll have to stop to collect more mana because the max is 1000. Very useful if the evil Golems do their super deadly multiple target "Castle Crush" attack. so yeah, empaths are very useful. XD
