This is really weird to me.  Bear with me?  Set during The Last Battle - Peter and Edmund waiting at the train station to deliver the magical rings to Eustace and Jill so that they can save Narnia.  Y'know.  Also known as right before everyone dies in an epic train accident.

Set immediately after Waiting for the Sun to Rise.

Oh, this piece was sad and honest and all kinds of lovely. I love the way Edmund speaks his mind, and coupled with your writing style, this was something I completely enjoyed reading - even while it made me think. Thanks - it was brilliant. :)

Brilliant characterization of Edmund's slight bitterness. I was surprised to hear him swear but it was so natural that I did go with it. Very well done.

This is a very evocative piece. Absolutely heartbreaking and yet not, because you also know where they end up.
