On a serious note, if you haven't already, try weeding when you least want to, the middle of the day when it is hot and sunny, then you may get eaten less...
Oh no, the really bad-time-of-day-for-turbocat is from about 6:30 a.m. to 9:30, *before* it's hot and before the mosquitos have really warmed up.

And I even feel lucky enough to mention that although we have scads of moths, we're not suffering the Flatland Mosquito Invasion up here in the mountains.
