I'm confused about number 5. There's an example with text, but I'm correct in assuming that our icons must not have text, yes?

The not found in your default graphics program is the important bit. You can have text, but you can only use fonts that came with your program originally. I think the font in question is 'Times New Roman' which is a generic font that is usually pre-loaded on most devices making it fair game for the theme.

Hope that helps!

Yes, thank you!

I don't have a clue what fonts would be allowed except Times New Roman and Arial, so I guess I'll either stick to one of those two or just go for textless.

The 20inspirations round that the theme was inspired by was linked to help with that. In the round information post they included this list of approved fonts that you can use.

Thank you so much! I didn't think to click on the provided link before. //(

And this is an unexpectedly long list, yay!

The screencaps for textures; can we manipulate them how we like or do they have to be visibly one of the images?

You can manipulate however you like just as long as, if I ask, you can show/tell me what you did.

I have another question about #1.

I'm using the noise filter to get a sprinkled effect, does that count as another "texture" that must not be used, or is that allowed?

It's a PS filter that texturizes and not what we think of as an actual texture in the icon world, so it's fine to use.
