Bucky Barnes is ok for letter B? (Because the full name is James Buchanan Barnes). Thanks

He would count for both 'J' and 'B'. So yes, you can icon him.

So, I picked the letter N and there's only navy for a color that I can think of. I googled colors that start with N and these were some of the results:
Napier Green
Naples Yellow

Would I be allowed to use one of those or should I just stick to navy?

As they both begin with the letter 'N', you can definitely use them. You could also use any of these colors as well.

For N is for Noun, since you used the example of T is for Trio, the subject doesn't have to be the character's name? Would a title given to a character work for that theme?

A given title would certainly work. For example, Doctor Gregory House would work for 'D' for Doctor, 'G' for 'Gregory', and also 'H' for House. His title, first name, and last name would all count. As do nicknames (as I answered in a previous question, 'B' is for "Bucky" Barnes) and groups (for example 'Death Eaters' would work for 'D' for this theme). Aliases work as well.

Hope that helps!

Are animated icons allowed for this round?

Reply

I was just about to reply to your submission, actually. No, as per our rules, animated icons are not allowed.

Although, I think it is high time that rule is re-examined. So when the end-of-round polls comes around, I'll stick a question about that in there.

In the meantime, while I apologize for the inconvenience, you'll have to re-make your and/or submit a still version. Thank you!

Okay, thanks! I have no idea what possessed me to even make an animated icon, lol. I'll go swap it out now.

Can I use Owl as an object...I know it's a living thing but I seriously can't think of an object that starts with "O" (and I really like my letter, so I don't want to change it) ^_^

O is a difficult one, isn't it? You could make an owl work in this case. But you might also want to try one of these options which more closely fit the 'object' theme: opticals would be an acceptable synonym for glasses, ornament, oval, octagon, off/on buttons or switches, opal (as in the gem), oreo cookies, organ (wherein the instrument or any bodily organ would all count), and overcoat, amongst many others that a quick Google search turned up, would be acceptable. Up to you!

me again, sorry!
can i use bionic arm as an object?

Since I've used Captain Hook's hook as an example, I think that sets a precedent. So yes, you may use bionic arm as an object.
