Supernaturalville had this summer hiatus challenge going on where you wrote three points of view on the fire in Sam's nursery. I wasn't going to enter it at first, because we all know it takes everything I have to actually write anything these days. But I was talking to Petra, and we came up with a great idea for the points of view. So I wrote

I made a point of reading and commenting on all the summer challenge stories that were posted. Having read them all, I would probably rank yours among my favorites-because of who you used to tell the story. I noticed that each time, the story is told to Sam after he's been captured in some way. SO clever! Loved it!

So harrowing and dark and simply delicious like the best of chocolates.

All three vignettes bring to mind a distorted mirror that reflects the truth prismed by malice and polished with hate.
