Just had to tell you, you nearly got me in trouble. It's 3:30 am here. I was reading fic that you left feedback for and your icon was a chinese dragon statue with a LOL caption. And that's what it made me do. Nearly woke the whole house up. It's great! :)

I was actually going to say King Ceasar looking dragon... but I was afraid that was just my brother trying to turn me into a Godzilla junkie. But that's a great icon. I am taking and will credit if I get to use it. *sigh* I have a feeling I'm going to pay for a LJ account just to keep from juggling my 3 sad icons I've made.

Hey there! Random Doctor Who friending person here. So happy to find another American obsessed with the show! *g*

Also BEYOND happy to find a nice fic rec list. Will start reading with much pleasure. Oh, and just to let you know - I've stolen you're Porn!Dalek icon. Actually, that's what first drew me to your journal. You used it when commenting on someone else's journal and I laughed at it so much I just had to find out where it came from. ;-)

Yay! I love the porn icon so bad, it's mad me so many friends! Welcome to the journal, and enjoy the recs list, though i confess i haven't updated it in months (as you'll see, because my last updates are all marked in red). Perhaps i'll start reading the fics again when the new series airs. Regardless, lovely to meet you!

I don't mean to be a totally ignoramus, but which Dr. Who should a newbie watch? I know there are several versions w/ different casts.

Also, (since I want to confirm my idiocy) how do you make icons? Help me, Yoda!

Oooo, Doctor Who! Don't you worry about being an ignoramus, we'll school ya! If you can get your hands on the new British series, it's fantastic. But it's not coming out on DVD in America for another year probably. So i'd advise the fourth Doctor, Tom Baker. He's sort of the classic.

As for icons, it just sort of takes a lot of practice. And a decent program, PSP and Adobe Photoshop are the most popularios. If you're on a PC you can download a trial of PSP, but i'm on a Mac so i've got NO idea where. You got any imaging programs like that?
