Went to a haunted house thingie out at an old farm last night. As usual, I went as Shaun of the Dead, cricket bat and all, and as usual, I had to check in my bat at the entrance, since they don't want you bonking the actors on the head. They like to wander the line, hassling people to get you all nervous before you go in, and this year they decided

Also, you should email the farm and tell them you got robbed at knife point while their security guards stood around laughing at you. I'm sure they would love to hear about how unsafe of an environment it is.

Kind of one of the reasons I enjoy having a big boyfriend. He's really not as tough as he looks, especially with the multiple back injuries but people just assume he's big and bad because he's.. well.. big. haha.

Really though, I think at that point I would have asked to speak with a manager. That's bullshit.

They totally took advantage of the immense trust you place on your "hosts" when you attend something like that. Getting in the face of a knife-wielding weirdo in a corset, right in front of security, just seemed like a no-win situation. He wasn't going to help, but I'm dang sure I'd have been jumped if I'd taken the offensive.

Aaaanyway...my friend who was assaulted by them has kept contacting them and got all of the admission money back. So I guess it ended up okay, more or less.
