I'm hanging out at a Starbucks. I forgot my earbuds, dammit. I actually haven't done this in a while. It's weird, working at Starbucks I still drink Starbucks a fair amount but I hardly ever come in and sit down and chill w/ my laptop or a newspaper, which is really my favorite thing to do ( Read more... )

ouch. that sucks. i'm glad i got starbucks today, instead of hip independent place that doesn't offer benefits.

I miss hanging out with you at Starbucks, but not as much as I miss the maple latte...mmm it was SO good. Monica, pleaaaaase make it come back? Just do something. Au Bon Pain has their new Maple Spice Latte (wtf maple *spice*??) but I have yet to try it. I'll report back as soon as I sample their version of the drink, though. The labor cuts seem to be pretty awful. They've been getting rid of baristas here and there in DC. I do hope you get more (better) hours. Five in the morning... notice the time of this post: 4:50 am. Yup, I'm just going to bed :D

Seriously, get some fiction on that list. And if you move Words and Rules to the top, lol maybe we can both finish it (finally) together.

I don't know how I'll ever finish the books on my list, I literally cannot even find them right now. D=

Also now seems an odd time to debut a maple drink ne? OH and I tried Via, and it tastes just like drip coffee! The smell's a little different, but it's pretty damn good. I hope it does well.
