That was an awesome chapter. I love how Lee went to rescue Kara and brought her out of her daze. And now he's shot and she will need to save him too! Yes!!!

I really wanted Pilots to be taking care of each other and helping each other as opposed to hurting each other... it's a step in the right direction.

Great chapter. Very enjoyable, despite you leave us on a hell of a cliffhanger. Leaving us on a pilot being shot apparently in the chest to boot. You and KAG comparing notes or something? Just kidding. ;)

It's nice to see Kara improving, but there is no magic wand. It's a process that will take a long time. Glad you stay true to that. Also it's nice to Lee going to Kara's rescue. In cannon they forced him to be the bad guy so many times. One time would have been nice to see him save her. Like she has saved him. Only fair right? ;)

I think this whole thing is a way to bring them back to each other. It's a tactic alot in FF, but still it works for these two. They need a good kick in the ass sometimes how unbelievably stubborn they can be at times. Nothing like nearly losing each other to knock some sense into them right? :)

Anyway great job with this chapter and this story. Looking forward to more. :)

nice connection back to canon. i like how kara found herself in a situation where she can operate from muscle memory alone. great way to help her regain confidence. poor lee. hurt again :(
