This is really working beautifully - and I can't wait for everyone to get together... I love how well the two 'verses mesh in a crossover. And River + Kara is like fireworks - whoa!

Great chapter. I loved how you brought in the Cylon Basestar and tied it into the events from Serenity, especially in regards to the Final Five. Hopefully, Kara, Karl, and the rest of the crew can get their act together and rescue those taken by the Alliance.

I haven't been commenting, but I have been reading, and I just want to say that I love love love this. I didn't read the original because I hadn't seen the BSG at the time, so this is my first time through, and it really is so good.

I love how well you've captured just the right mix of lucidity and madness that is River. I'm always worried that my madness will either not be mad enough or be too mad and not make sense at all.

Also, love the return of the cunning hat.

That was one intense ending there ... kind of strange to think the two people who are most alike in this story might be Kara and River.
