Got this email from Scott Cowen, president of Tulane University today:

Dear Students:

Today my message to you is being sent with feelings of both pride and
sadness as I announce that Lester Lefton, senior vice president for
academic affairs and provost, has been named the new president of Kent
State University, effective this July. I am happy for Lester
