Beautiful~ I enjoy seeing someone write a sad, lonely, regretful Kakashi without over doing it and dropping into unjustified angst. I loved the feeling of this, a good balance of sorrow and support. :3

Thanks! I was working on this as I was finishing "Blot out the Stars" so I don't think I had much of a choice over it being at least a little sad. *g*

This was lovely, but I think I just got spoiled for Obito. *sighs* Remind me never to read fic unless I'm current, especially when fics don't have spoilers. T_T

I'm not sure? Have you read the Kakashi-gaiden arc? If so, this doesn't go into anything past that and is focused more on the "what if Kakashi had to kill Sasuke?" premise. If not and you're talking about just who Obito was in general and the couple of references at the end, then I'm sorry, hon. :(

If it makes you feel any better, I have been totally spoiled on everything going on in the canon right now by a friend who didn't realize I'm like a year behind. Still sorry. *hugs*

Oh, wow, somehow I missed this completely while doing my recs for crack_van. Heck, I didn't even know you had written this. How very incredible!!! So heartbreaking. Love, love, love mourning Kakashi. Well, will just have to volunteer again just to give everyone else a chance at this awesome story.

Thanks for the sweet words! I kind of view this one as a bit of a failed experiment, so I'm glad you were able to enjoy it regardless. It's definitely on my list of "maybe someday" for coming back to and seeing if I can do anything more with.

I didn't even realize crack_van had Naruto in its fandoms. I'll have to check it out!
