Disgusting mess under fridge cleaned, ditto stove. Three loads of laundry done, plus handwashed several sweaters, bras and scarves and pashmina. Thanks to Soak, the later is much less work

That's a good idea! Or if the organisers don't agree, why not try to find out the exact size of the programme so you can make a folder-type thing: half with a piece of elastic to hold the programme in; half with a notebook for the rest (with headings on the pages, maybe).
