Diving in

to book I've been waiting over 25 years to read. Final volume of the biography of Winston Churchill by William Manchester. Paul Reid finished this volume after Manchester's illness and death. At over 1,200 pages, I expect it will take me a few days to finish.

That trilogy sounds interesting. Have you read the first two volumes?

Yes, twice. My mother gave me the first volume. I've read about 50 page, but due to fatigue, must stop for tonight.

A few days, yes! But you can do it. My husband adores Churchill biographies; I guess I should investigate!

I've read about half-way. Not up to Manchester's first two volumes, which I highly recommend. It may be that I'm not in the right frame of mind to read it, so I've set it aside til my head is better.
