Uncooked rice? Good tip to know. I would have thought it enough to remove the battery and allow the phone to air dry.

More weight loss? Go, tudorpot! *\o/*

supposedly the rice attracts moisture- I also took the sim card out- google helped me figure out what to do.

I have been adding some treats - don't want to get too thin.

It's been fairly easy - I have had a few treats but my increased activity level seems to be balancing it all out. What really helps is the lack of constant hunger that I had pre-op.
How are you doing?

Less well lol. My fill level will probably be increased next time I visit, which is just under two weeks away. I got to the gym three times the week before last but none last week due to being sick. I've lost a whole kilogram this month. That said, however, the surgeon is apparently one who favours slower, more sustained losses, so we'll have to see.

I'm not a person who loves protein so I'm thinking about trying a structured eating program with the dietitician, at least to get me started. I work well with rules! I also think I need to go cold turkey on sugar, as any treats end up being the thin edge of the wedge. But that said, I am definitely feeling the change in hunger to the point that I'm finding it hard to recognise. I just need to prepare with 'good' snacks for when I get bored and feel like snacking.

And, as always, I am shockingly bad at getting my water. I figure if I eliminate even diet soda then I will HAVE to drink it.

No sympathy re getting in fluid or protein. Time to put on your big girl panties my dear. Diet soda should not be passing your lips for some time to come- ie when you are closer to goal. ditto treats and sugar.
