We got "freezing rain" here today. It falls as water, but as soon as it touches something, anything, it instantly turns to ice.

You know, it was okay for this first day, but I already know I'm quickly going to get tired of scraping ice.

Yuck. Ice makes for pretty pictures...otherwise, it sucks.

Thankfully, this was a light, dry snow. It mostly just blew around and stuck a little bit. Pretty perfect. In my opinion, if it's going to be this cold, it should snow...but just enough to make it look pretty and not enough to screw with my commute! :P

Arrgh, I don't even have my tree up yet! :( I'm just not in a very holiday mood this year, but we'll do it this weekend. Maybe then I will be :)

Or maybe I could just print a picture of yours and hang it on our fireplace? It's so pretty!

Awww, I'm sorry honey. I actually started putting ours up after Thanksgiving, because that was the main time I had to do it. Plus, I needed something to get me into the holiday mood so I would get those ornaments done. I still need to work on some more, but I'm waiting on a shipment of beads. I need to work on Annies too, but my mouth is really hurting tonight. Wah.

Thank you though! I'm quite happy with it. It makes it feel more like home :)
