You know, it's odd to me that everyone associates Tudor/corseted clothing with heat and discomfort. I worked at the ren faires for a few years and they were quite comfortable, considering. Great back support and if everything is fitting as tight as it should then it's cooler than if the clothing is loose with lots of air pockets. That and drinking water and sweating into your clothes is an air conditioning of sorts.

it's that that I worry so much about the discomfort of a corset- I've liked the back support the couple of times I've been in one. It's actually just as I'm looking at the number of layers, I think it would be quite toasty, but mostly 'cause I'm not too fond of fake sleeves and things like that and want to do the excessive undergarments. tee hee.

I totally squee my pants for Tudor stuff. Such pretties!

We should make super hot (attractive) ridiculous Tudor goodness together. With lots of goodness. And ruffle. And poof.
