Dear assorted ancestors, great-to-the-nth aunts and uncles, cousins n times removed, and other relatives throughout the eighteenth, nineteenth and early twentieth centuries:

STOP REUSING THE SAME SIX NAMES! It makes genealogy very confusing.

lol! I've had the same problem and I haven't gotten farther back then early 20th century. :o)

And the poor family tree maker program doesn't know what to do with the fact that my brother is Joe the 4th.

Yeah. I had an ancestor (I forget how many greats) named Moses Vail who had about a dozen kids, and every blasted one of them names either their first or second son Moses.
