It sure doesn't take long to accumulate embroidery thread! Those thread holders are perfect; I love mine.

Kitty sleep mask is so cute! I am obsessed with Urban Threads. One of these days I'm going to actually use all the patterns I have from them.

Congratulations on getting your newly graduated daughter home. I know you are one really happy mom to have all your chicks back at the roost.

PS: Got my invite to "author" and will try it out when I make my video this week. That should be a little later this evening or in the morning.

It definitely doesn't take long to accumulate thread and I'm much happier being able to find it!

Urban Threads is too fun for words. I've wish listed WAY more than I've bought!

I love having my kids home. ♥

Let me know how WordPress works for you. I'm hoping we can find a common comfort level before we make a big move.

It worked fine. I already had an account and a blog that I haven't really kept up, but I'll be posting to that occasionally now too.

Sewhooked is hosted on WordPress, which makes it one of the easiest options for me. I took a peek at some of your posts. It reminds me of back when lots of us were posting to Livejournal on our personal pages, too!

Hehe, I love my kitty mask!

It's lovely to have my kids home for a while and WEIRD/awesome/amazing to have a college graduate/adult daughter!

I have been very lucky in that I've been given A LOT of thread by other crafty types. I had no idea how much there was until I started sorting it!

I was just thinking I needed to make a sleep mask, now that Phebe is home for the summer. She stays up late and we go to bed early. Ken can drop off regardless of the circumstances, but I'm like you, I need it pitch black, and can't stand sleeping with the door shut, so a sleep mask would definitely solve that problem. It's not like I don't have fabric lying around, lol.

Of course she loved the quilt, it was amazing and adorable and the foxes were too cute for words.

What cute quilt tops! I'm now officially a blanket behind for Linus, I need to get busy experimenting with some of the class projects in my craftsy classes so I can get some stuff done. Thank goodness Doreen is back to work in June.

The idea of a retreat is fantastic. Can't wait to hear more about that.

I want to make a pile of those freaking sleep masks. It makes Big E laugh every time he sees it. :P

I did a VERY poor job showing those quilt tops. I'll try to take some pics before turning the big ones in.

The retreat idea has been rolling around my head for a while. Feedback so far is good...

Love the kitty mask, I tried to sleep with a mask but kept dreaming about being smothered so had to stop, maybe it was too thick ? What goes into yours. I am going away sewing this weekend with friends, a brave move what with moving next week but I need this break xx

The first sleep mask I had was way too tight and I didn't like it. Mine are regular quilting cotton fabric with a thin layer of cotton batting inside. Soft, flexible, washable!

Sewing weekends are the best! I'm thinking about you as you prepare to move. ♥
