Wow, lots of info!! I am very excited about all the things! I will order the magazine as soon as it is ready. Can't wait to see your block. Can we pre-order tomorrow

Suzy's idea is nice. There's a Facebook scrap sewing group (Heather Valentine's) that swaps things like pincushions, mini quilts, etc. Another postcard swap might be nice, though that can get a bit much if there's a lot of people involved. Might use the same pattern/dimensions for everyone so all get the same size item, and do a swap with things like mug rugs, drawstring bags, tote bags...
Whew, you've got a busy 2017 lined up! Ready, set...GO!
Pebbles do take for.ev.er but they're such a great texture! They're also thread-eaters, too.
I have a tv tray hanging around in my sewing room waiting to get the same treatment :D Yours turned out great!
Lots of announcements for sure - I'm going to aim to do PPV and then also maybe to finish, finally, my Doctor Who quilt in the UFO months. I had grand plans for it, which is really what stopped me from finishing ... I may need to re-evaluate how important those grand plans are.
I still haven't used the t.v. tray, but it's ready when I need it!
I'm really hoping the UFO event will help a lot of our community finish those languishing projects. The downside to having such an active community is having SO MANY project!
This year has been amazing for both your communities, and 2017 looks to be the same! I definitely plan to follow the Labyrinth QAL but may just wait it out to see my favorites to make myself a nice wall-hanging for the project room

I meant to mention that I have been seeking one of those trays for the same reason, only to have right net too me when piecing. My area is a bit tight to have the ironing board right there. So it's across the room forcing me to get up every time I sew a seam. Total time waster. I even thought about just using a 12-14" board so I could toss it in the car for a sew day or retreat to have right next to me. Need to hit the thrift stores again. Maybe after Thanksgiving people will donate them!
Believe it or not, the schedule I've worked out for next year should be less crazy for me. Let us hope that is how it works out!
PPV... I might have something set aside for you. Ahem.
Ha, you better be careful or you'll be running a swap! I do like the small item idea, and I agree that having a partner would help with knowing what to do. Food for thought!
I still haven't used my little ironing board, but it's ready when I need to!
Very late to the party here. Busy catching up on all the videos. I like all the ideas mentioned in the thread. Or even round robin style like last year, with favorite things and all that and a surprise for the each person. A one on one things, like Susie mentioned where you pair up is good. I think if you do a group swap, for me personally would not work and O would sit out on those. As our postage over the mighty oceans, are crazy expensive at the moment. Happy to send to 1 person at a time. Sounds like fun.
