THe vintage quilt came out so beautiful Jen, just amazing. You clearly were saving it for your new frame. ;)

The practice pieces look great too. ANd really any largish print if you had say a yard and a half of it, could be a panel. But it looks to me like you have already gotten the hang of everything.

Oh my I remember the picture you sent me of the G quilt. Don't I remember one of your fellow bee members or linus members having an accuquilt? That would be perfect for all those darn squares and you could easily do it sitting down for sure. Maybe you could borrow it.

You'll have to have Sarah come over and film a joint TTMT so you can have help filming sitting down. 2 weeks or more without seeing your beautiful face? No way! *glomps*

I was inspired to quilt the vintage top by Linda. She did a bunch of antique mall tops on a long arm and has them all over her house. As she says, "better finished than perfect!" I just love that ( ... )

Really awesome pattern on the quilt you finished, I love a lot.
After I have saved up enough money for an embroidery machine, I am definitely getting a long arm quilting machine as well.
Your practice blocks looks great as well.
Really hope all goes well with your op.

I had written a paragraph when our power went out and my computer shut down. Grr!

Thank you, I am so happy to have that particular UFO complete. It really is a very snuggly quilt!

Now that our kids are grown, it feels like the time to do a little for ourselves, you know? I've been saving for this for ages and the last push was selling off the big things we didn't need from our garage. I am much happier having a quilting frame than I was with an exercise bike!!

I'm ready to get the surgery over with. I scheduled it for after Gareth's college orientation because I really want to be there, but the wait has been very long!

Love the vintage top and the  frame is something I am very jealous of. Really hope all goes well with the surgery and that you are fighting fit and ready to sew soon x
