I was wondering if and when you were going to spill the beans. ;) Both the practice pieces look great. I may have to get one of those when I have a truly empty nest. Sounds like a great use for an extra bedroom! Heck Maybe I just need to put in one of those "craft cabins" in my back yard. muwahaha
So glad you finally got all that straightened out with the 100 blocks. Such a pain.
We've been in our house 17 years now and there is SO MUCH JUNK we don't need. I have cleared out a crazy amount of stuff in exchange for my new toys and am much happier for it! ;)
I was hoping you'd enjoy seeing that fabric again!
So your new toy is just amazing and epic! I can't wait to see more amazing quilts you quilt on that. Congrats to your son and hope your daughter has a wonderful time on her trip! I'm sorry to hear about your foot.
Thanks! I have wanted one for about ten years, so it's been a long time coming. It feels so good to sell stuff we don't use anymore in exchange for something so awesome. :D
My foot is causing me all kinds of grief and it will be a long summer of recovery, but it will be worth it to be pain free.
You have had a busy week (or more). Did the kids help with the cleaning out?
Congratulations to your son (and his parents). I hope your daughter's trip is fun and enlightening and awesome.
Nice toy! Looking forward to seeing more of the projects you complete on it. You're doing a great job so far.
I am looking forward to the new MFT pattern tomorrow and to receiving my copy of 100 Blocks. Got my e-mail message before I saw this video. I sorry that this has been such an aggravating experience for you.
Here's hoping the surgery has your foot fixed up soon and that the healing process is short. May your surgeon be as good with his/her hands are you are with yours.
Oh my no, the clearing out was all me! Most of it was done before my daughter was home from college and while my sone was at school. It was just a little at a time over several weeks. :)
I figured if I finally complained in public, the magazines would show up. That's how it works, isn't it?!
I hope you enjoy today's MFT as much as I do!
I promise to keep y'all updated on the surgery. I'll most likely miss a week of videos, but who knows, maybe there will be a "live from my sofa" episode!

Now go rest that foot! ;)

Make sure that craft cabin has room for a few air mattresses! :P

Another new toy, eh? Pretty nice! You'll be able to go into business machine quilting for people yourself before long.
