For clarity... couteaucouture (Friend Sarah..quilt back) Sarah's Sewing Studio (two PoD quilts and quilt label) and Sarah Doty (from Houston..lady bug prize)
So many Linus blankets! Go you!!! Glad the shower curtain is working out. Great prizes for both groups too. The lady bug is so cute. I've never seen that before. I'm so happy with the way the X Files quilt is looking, already planning on how I'm going to quilt this! Can't wait to see what the new fav things block is too! Must get the buttons done before next week.
Sarah S.'s quilting keeps getting better and better and I'm really pleased to get to share her work. :)
I bought the deeper sheets from Overstock and they were nice for about a month and then they started to pill. VERY annoying since they weren't cheap, but I couldn't return them. I've got about three more sets of sheets I'm going to do enlarge. ALSO, I forgot to say that I used a top sheet that didn't have a fitted sheet to go with it anymore for the insert. Super happy about that project!
X-Files! It's crazy we only have a month left...
Two blankets a month seems doable, but it kicked my butt last year without crochet. Seriously considering taking advantage of a fleece sale and making a few extra blankets so I can get a little bit ahead...
That was my plan for the fleece this month. I have managed to get one cut so far but not the holes in it yet. I'm starting to think maybe a serged one will be the way to go. I still have some narrower remnants. And I'm only trying to get 1 done each month and I'm having trouble.
I make a list during the week so I will (hopefully!) not forget anything I really want to share. That makes it oodles easier to remember what to talk about.
The log cabin was lovely to work on. The blocks were beautifully made and being able to use my m-i-l's sewing machine (the first time I've been able to bring myself to do so) was also a good feeling.

I never would have even thought of adding an insert in a fitted sheet. GO you! Glad the the curtain is working out too.
Xfiles is so much fun. Really need to get cracking on my other blocks!
I am still behind a blanket for the year, too. I know I'll catch up at some point, not sure if it will be March though.

The Linus quilts are great. Love that quilting detail!
The sheet reminds me of a layer cake :D (Great idea and execution though!)

The sheet has been on a week (and gone through the wash once) and is still awesome. I will definitely be altering the rest of the ones I have.
