They seriously had so. much fairy frost. I had to keep putting some back or I would need to find an excuse to work some serious overtime to pay for it all.

If I'd had a plan I would have just bought a ton of the marblehead butterflies are free. But a yard is plenty for a pillowcase so I might use it for that.

I loved all of your fabric choices, but especially that Marblehead - just scrumptious! Good job on the quilts and the crocheted afghan. I may try to crochet this winter. It's just so cozy to sit and crochet while watching tv. I hope my fingers will let me.

My problem with handwork in the winter is our house gets so freaking cold! Wood floors + only a few working heater vents=chilly hands. I buy a cheap set of stretchy knit fingerless gloves or cut the fingers off a pair of old stretchy knit gloves and that helps quite a bit. But it's nice to work on blankets then because they help keep you warm while you are making them. ;)

HD JEWELLS ♥ ♥ ♥ !!!

One of the maybe QALs is going to receive attention from me today. Ehem. ;)

My stash also leans heavily toward blues and greens.

I adore Moda. So many good options. Yay for all of the beautiful new fabric!

Giant Granny Square looks very Molly Weasley. I like it.

The quilt with the applique is especially lovely. That royal blue batik. YUM.

I really wish there had been more of the blue batik. I would have loved to do an entire border + the sashing. But I think it looks good with the dark pink and teal, too. They seriously tempted me to do their 2016 Saturday Sampler mystery quilt starting in December. One of the options was Moda Grunge and he showed me the colors they are using. If only they weren't so far away! It's only $50 to join, and if you show up once a month for the free demo with your finished block from the previous month that $50 is all you pay, including border etc. I think it might cover everything. And the current year's "lap quilt" is way bigger than what I would say is a lap quilt. He said this coming year's is a comparable size.

A lot of the ladies here participate in similar clubs and it's almost a religion! Don't miss or you pay extra!! I've only done something like that once and that is the quilt I gave to Leo and Carol. :) It's also excellent for socializing because you get to know the other quilters. It's very much a club-like feeling.

I didn't want to add another thing to my weekends. Chorus has turned into more time than I thought, so I'm not ready to add anything else. I like it, but I wasn't expecting to be as busy as we've been.

Your grannie ghan is awesome. I haven't done anything big with yarn yet. I love that marbley fabric.

"big with yarn" is mainly what I do, lol. I love making socks but the tiny needles bother my arthritis.
