I was about as crafty as you! Described the character to Satia...she's wondering if it's Jack's character from GTAV . Only thing that popped into her head! Me...I have no clue! San Antonio looks nice! No place to really visit around here unless you have a car!
Lovely shots of SA. I've never seen the little guys with the drum when I've been at the Riverwalk, that was cute. I did spend a NYE on the Riverwalk once... I highly recommend it! ;)
That's so great that Miss E is doing her own costuming. My girl keeps saying she wants to, but then begs off when I offer to teach. Crazy teen.
Ack! 29! I was once worked ahead, but not anymore, lol. Maybe I'll get to 30 this weekend.
San Antonio was surprisingly lovely. The side our hotel was on was very peaceful and just around the corner from the main area with all the businesses. We walked and walked and walked. It was fantastic.
Elena really wants a sewing machine for her apartment. Carol's machine is hers, but it's filled with years of Alpine nastiness and it has those weird bobbins that come apart. I need to get it out, clean it and test it.
We're almost done with the PoD. WOO!!! I need to do some serious sewing on my two...
I do love your pattern, i might have to have a go with that one, although my hand sewing skills are minimal. Its such a busy time of the year at the moment , i really need to do some sewing for me for a change. X
What you said about exploring your own area is so true - so glad you had a nice time close to home.
That pattern is so elegant. One of those designs that is powerful in its simplicity. Love it!!
Miss E in an elf ensemble is going to be adorable. It's fantastic that she's doing it all herself. - okay, update - after reading Terry's comment, I had to Google the whole GTAV elf thing and "adorable" is probably not the best descriptor for that particular cosplay. Miss E will rock the elf ensemble. :)
Oh no, it's definitely not adorable, but apparently the fandom she belongs to will "get it." She chose that particular outfit because it's July and hot, etc. ;)
We are terrible at exploring locally, but we are improving a bit. We did a lot of that when we first moved to Central Texas, but the longer we've lived here, the less we've done. It was good to do something that felt so exotic but was so close to home!
Thank you for the sweet words about the pattern. I'm glad it's finally out there.
Happy belated Anniversary and your trip looked very romantic. Thanks for sharing your pattern awesome job. Love the elf costume too tell your daughter it is wonderful!
