Lots of Happy Birthday Wishes for Someone Very Special... also includes Project Linus stuff, Fabric, and a finished block for Phebe's Project of Doom quilt.
I miss singing with a group. I've looked around for non-church-related community singing groups, but the time commitment is still a bit more than I have available right now, unfortunately.
I definitely want to make this chocolate box 3x4, so I'm going to keep digging through my stuff. If I don't find anything I think I like, I'll bring it to Linus next month to see if I can find anything in our fabric bins. I'm really thinking a bright blue novelty print would be nice. I have a lot of blue so I need to dig through that.
Actually the daleks fabric would go nicely with the Yo Gabba Gabba, but that's MINE ALL MINE! ;) Although I might have to use a small bit of it on one of Phebe's PoD blocks, lol.
I think I'm good. I have decided to skip the grey and white polka dots and use the blue starry fabric for the rest of my "blender/tonals". I found some leftover fabric from my first baby quilt, the nautical one, and I will one have one dr seuss block. All in primary colors on white or a variation thereof. We will see how it works out. Cut everything out tonight.
Haha... dalek fabric. Awesome. Are you still working on (or planning on working on...) your Doctor Who quilt? Cause I could see that as a bit of border or something...
Phoebe's block looks great.. I love how that wand turned out.
Yeah I like my fishy wall hanging. It's so bright and cheery.
I still plan to finish my DWSAL, but since the PoD was an older UFO I'm focusing on that first. Maybe next year will be my Who year. I was thinking it would make a great bag, but it would be good on a quilt, too. I'm bummed I didn't buy any of the Starry Night Tardis fabric from Joann's before it was all gone. It would have made a great backing for the Who quilt, but I'm not paying Ebay prices for it.
I managed 2 more bocks this weekend, but sadly have not touched my PoD quilt at all for weeks now. Really need to finish that sucker.

Woo for winning such a beautiful wall hanging! There's nothing better than getting to hear how the blankets we make touch the lives of kiddos. :)
Oh, very nice fabric finds! I laughed out loud about the after Phebe's time comment. I have the same problem. :P
You can definitely do some mixing and matching with the Chocolate Box. I substituted a few small pieces so I'd have enough.
DALEKS! Eeee!
Your Elder Wand looks fantastic. Well done!

I bet you'll find something in your stash for the Chocolate Boxes (if you haven't already!). The Daleks are clearly to awesome to share. ;)
