TTMT #121 - jewells68 - April 7, 2015 - A Bit More PoD

Apr 07, 2015 11:15

In which I show my current in-progress crochet blanket for Project Linus, my first three rows for my 2011 PoD done and sewn together, and the most recent blocks finished for my daughter's 2015 PoD. Also hahaha! Love this freeze frame! What a dork. :P

That shell blanket is huge, and it looks fantastic!

Your progress is just fantastic on the PoD. The teddy fabric worked just perfectly for the Monster Book. Fantastic!

We have a couple of new members here on LJ, hopefully we'll see some videos from them soon. I also have a local friend that *might* be posting. :D

Believe it or not I'm already down to that last ball of yarn, but I have a plan for finishing it off with another yarn for the border. It's grown a lot this evening while was doing my laundry. I left my embroidery at work to force myself to crochet this evening, lol.

I've had a couple of comments and questions lately on youtube about "do I belong to a group" so I thought I would mention the address again and invite them to join us. One already replied that she joined, so yay! I think they might also be from the Facebook PoD group but not positive.

Woo, go you!

I'm really glad you gave TTMT a shout out, we definitely need some more video creators. My plan for the FQ Lotto is to include the winner in my TTMT that week and then post it to the FB group with an invite to participate. :D

Ran out of the yarn tonight and am working on a border. I think I only have enough of THIS yarn to do 2 sides, though. :( I'd like it to be bigger, but it is what it is. which is to say... almost done. :D

So cool looking monster block! Love the 'eye' fabric too.
YAY...I'm a member of a crafty bee! I always considered us a family so now I guess I can say we're a crafty bee family!
Can't wait to see the afghan. I haven't made any plans to tackle another as of yet. I'm still trying to figure out what to do with my mini skeins. The bee keeper quilt would take what would seem like forever but still a possibility (why doesn't that look lke it's spelled correctly? hmm).

Ran out of that superchunky yarn tonight so even though I wanted it bigger I'm putting a border on now and hopefully will call it "done" tomorrow evening.

The afghan is looking good. When I first saw it my thought was "I remember that yarn " :)

The teddy bear fabric looks great for your monster book of monsters. Good idea grabbing it!

I'm officially out of that yarn, and it's not as big as I would like but what can you do? I am working on a border out of something that's almost a perfect match for one of the colors, let's hope I have enough.

don't get too excited - I have a head cold so was not up for fancy editing and I look like I need a sleep, or to t least curl up on the couch with a warm quilt and a hot chocolate
