In which I ramble on WAY too long wrapping up 2014 and discussing my plans/goals for 2015. I do reward your patience with some project photos and a bit of silliness, so there's that. Pattern for the java jacketsis coming soon, I just need to pretty it up a bit. And look! I figured out how to make it NOT in widescreen, yay! And I'm dressed for once ( Read more... )

Woohoo for making your PL goal! *throws confetti*

I love the way you're approaching your to do list this year, it's so doable! Finish it in '15 is just as catchy as '14. ;)

Yay for Java Jackets! That was such a great idea, planned or not. They look adorable, tiny sweaters for your coffee!

I would very much like to learn to do stencils on my Cricut. I did a few for jennifleur's little Jack's baby gift, but I ended up having to cut bits and pieces of the freezer paper out by hand.

Finish ALL THE THINGS!!!

I think trying to just focus on finishing the few big UFOs I have lying around will free me up to do random things here and there throughout the year. Simplify.

I'll let you know how the contact paper goes in my cricut. *crosses fingers*

Jewells Java Jackets...I like it! Nice gift for everyone too.

Sounds like you have a good plan going. You and Ofenjen have inspired me to do my own list, so thanks for that. :)

This year I'm aiming to keep it simple and just keep plugging away at stuff that's already lying around. Maybe that way I can make room to buy more fabric!

Congrats on meeting your Linus goal!!!

The Java Jackets are very nice. I love practical gifts.

I left you a message about the cricut. Hope you are able to get it to work for you.

The list looks good! I plan on making my video tomorrow and going over my list. It feels good to be organized.

The bright green color looks nice on you :)

thanks! Everyone loved their Java Jackets... I hadned them out this morning in our weekly meeting. Thanks so much for replying on the contact paper. I just jotted down all your settings and put them next to the machine to try out.

Trying to keep the list simple this year. Hopefully that will lead to many finishes.

chartreuse is one of my favorite colors. Just makes me happy. THe sweater is too big but I don't care, besides I like to layer anyway. ;)

*hugs Jewells*

Yay for getting stuff done!!! I like your idea of just getting the big stuff done! I kinda did that last year with finishing off various quilt blocks. Now I'm working on at least 5 quilts (eek!)...I gotta do something about my rooms!!!

I see a vacation in my future for returning order to my space!!!

I wanted to rearrange again, because it's not really as functional as it could be, but I didn't want to tear everything up because I wanted to start working on my PoD. So I just straightened up a bit and got busy sewing instead. :P But I do have this coming Monday off as a company holiday, sooooooo.

Yeah, the idea is to get the oldest languishing projects done this year. The rest can sit for a bit.

Everyone liked their jackets. I have a few left over. There are a couple of other coworkers I deal with a lot that I'm see if they would like them. Don't think I'll knit for a while, kind of burnt me out.
