I was so happy to re-share that yarn with you now that you have a use for it. I tried crocheting with it and obviously that didn't go very well, lol! Now it's come full circle!!

Ack, more granny squares! At least they are clean and sorted by color. Woo!

Hideous, but warm slippers for the win! I actually think they're pretty cute. I do miss my yarn slippers this season. Orthopedic slippers for me now. :/

Very sweet little hats.

Oh my gosh, the flyswatter! *gigglesnort*

I am wondering how they would work on a smaller loom, that cotton eyelash yarn. I have an even smaller loom and maybe could make little "puffs" with it.

Can you make the yarn slippers a little big and then stick an orthopedic insert in it? I've toyed with the idea of punching holes in the edges of a flip flip and crocheting a slipper that way to have a firmer sole than just the yarn. If it had a firm sole you could slip and insert in there... just brainstorming. My knees do better with actual soles than these knitted ones, especially on these hard floors.

I've had a lot of fun with the hats. Two different loomed ones, one knitted on dpns, and one crocheted now.

I laughed so hard when I saw the flyswatter. Someone else mentioned those and I said omg that would be perfect when the moths come out this summer. And she said "I know what I am getting you for xmas" but I didn't think she was serious, lol.

Sadly, no on the slippers. I have to have a hard sole on my shoes plus the orthotics. I did find some slippers on sale near the end of summer, so at least I don't have to wear regular shoes all day! Imagine these, but in lavendar plaid and on sale! In the meantime, I placate myself with all my hand knitted socks!!

Those look comfy! Sadly my knees are starting to bug me a bit and I think it's the yarn slippers on the hard floor. Maybe I'll make my next pair of slippers like the japanese sandal socks and have two separate toe compartments so I can wear them with my flip flops.

Wow, that yarn's pretty sturdy to keep getting made into new things! Actually I think the slippers look pretty good, they do look warm. :)

Look at the teeny hats! Very cute.

You're going to see granny squares in your sleep, if you're not already, lol. But you do make really nice blankets with them.

I will be happy to share the join I use with other crafters if it gets them to work on these granny squares, too. I'm known as the granny square lady these days, lol.

Those tiny hats give me so much joy. The cats notsomuch, because I keep trying to stick them on the kitties' head.

Had to laugh that you picked up more granny squares :D I thought you'd had enough of those!

Hey - you found a use for the chunky yarn! Go you :D

Have fun with the baby doll hats. Funny about the dolls selling better when they're behatted than not.

I deliberately picked stacks of colors that had fewer in them and picked 40-something for each of the two blankets to just make a couple of BIG ones like the last two I did. It may take me several months to get all the ends woven in, but the year is just beginning so I have plenty of time! ;)

Tiny hats are loads of fun. The cats are tired of me trying to get them to wear them, however.
