I love your t-tops! So cute and creative and pretty.
The Linus quilt tops are looking great, as well as the PPV. I like how it looks in reproduction prints. Very soft and pretty.
On another note, I just have to mention that on the way to bringing my kids to school this morning I noticed some leaves falling. It was quite cool last night. Fall is coming!! Even though tomorrow is supposed to be 96, the following day is supposed to be 79. We're in that transition phase so a new season :)
I can't believe it's been five years this month since I discovered TTMT on YouTube. Thank you for faithfully airing TTMT every week. It truly is a cherished part of my life!
Wow, you weren't kidding, a totally jampacked video!
Summer of Stitching has led to some interesting new submissions, and a big infusion of designs that could be incorporated into any number of projects, so yay for that! I'm proud of myself for managing to get 3 stitches finished in time to submit, lol. And you did WAY more. I would say it was a success.
Mikey's quilt is really coming together. It's going to be very special to him and to his family.
Always so creative with the tees. The stamping was a really fun idea. I really need to get busy with the idea that has been percolating in the back of my brain.
Eli's closet was a no-go, he's just gotten rid of way too much! Now I kinda want to hit a thrift store or two and see if I can find some interesting big tees!
Still waiting on that last block for Mikey's quilt, but think I might start piecing sashing where I can today. I really want to get it done!
Summer of Stitching has been great. I was feeling somewhat creatively blocked when we started, and that is absolutely gone now...as you might have noticed! ;)
And yay PPV!!! It's been lovely to see all the various fabric combos!
Amazing T-shirt recons! I wish I had the confidence in my sewing to do the stuffs you do! *is NOT a seamstress* The stamping is SO cool! I love the subtlety!!!
You did so many fantastic designs! I wish I could have done more! So many ideas...so little time!
I think we are agreed on the AYW...we loved it, but we are done with it. :)
T-shirts, especially super cheap ones, are easy to cut up and do things too. If you mess up it's not too big of a deal. I've learned a lot playing with tees. :)
The t-shirts are SO cute! That fabric stamping is the perfect touch to add one more dimension of uniqueness.
Sebastian is cute, too...I'm like Amber - so many ideas but not enough hours in the day. The designs you did for each theme were so creative.
So many quilt tops! I hope the AYW top doesn't give you any headaches...those letters are so slender, I can't imagine trying to applique around them. I think the blanket stitch is a great idea. :)
I noticed that my general hand sewing has improved hugely with all the embroidery. I'm guessing this is a secret you already knew! The AYW top will get The Treatment once I stock up on the right color of gold/tan.
Looks like you're having fun with the t-shirts too.
The Little Mermaid stitch is cute. I still hope eventually to make some patterns for some of the themes from this summer, but I just haven't figured out how to squeeze drawing and stitching things into my day, lately.
My goal for Linus is two finished blankets a month, and I tend to go in waves. Sometimes I turn in nothing, and sometimes, it'll be five or six. No idea where I am so far this year, because 2014 has been insane, but if I can get a little ahead, I'm okay with that!
