Those are 3-6mo onesies, too. I don't ever buy newborn because they are out of them too quickly. This baby was at least 2 weeks early and she still weighed over 7 pounds and was 19 inches long. Probably a good thing she didn't wait 2 more weeks!
I really like the look of the dots, and they just basically use the same method as painting the whole picture in, you just use the other end of the same brush!
I even weed whacked the front yard, believe it or not! I didn't rake them up, but I did cut them down, lol.
Yay, long weekend! Looks like you made the absolute most of it!
The dotted stencil is SO pretty. What a wonderful idea - seems like it might hold up to repeated washings more than a fully painted stencil, too. Not that the glittery purple star isn't fabulous, too. I can just see a tiny baby rocking that look. :)
I saw your BB blocks on Flickr and thought they were so pretty. Very professional looking!!
Congrats to the winner! To use what I believe is a Southern euphemism, that is one honkin' big prize package. :)
I wanted to make sure Classic Disney films from even before MY time were represented. I wanted to do one from Jungle Book, which I loved growing up, but couldn't decide between Bagheera or Shere Khan.
I really love those granny square blocks. You could totally do a "planned scrappy" version using half a jelly roll.
two parcels is more than fine. space them out to save the impact on your wallet too if need be. you know i'm not too concerned about that. i'll soon start stalking the post office :D
the baby sets are just gorgeous. so sweet.
I'm looking to when i can do your granny block. I'm hoping that i can get a day off soon so i can have a sewing day. it's been rather frantic at work of late, and i've been clocking up flexi hours, so i think i can manage that over the next couple of weeks
With the other sales assistant out on family leave (his wife just had her baby 3 weeks early) work has been INSANE because I am his backup and he does ALL of the sales team's data entry. SO I have not come close to even getting the package ready to ship., let alone actually posting it. So I might actually have a chance to put your bday blocks in the first pkg since I have all my fabric picked out and my pp pattern cut out and ready to go.
No rush on my block. I won't have time to piece my top anytime soon anyway. Besides, I haven't done anything with my blocks from the last two years... I probably ought to do something with those first, lol.
