Fantastic hair day!

Finished quilt reveals are the best. I love how the binding looks, which is PERFECT.

The label is super cute. I've never considered fusing it before stitching. Great idea!

Action shots outside ftw!

You did a really lovely job. What a treasure!

Big Lots Charm is looking good! I'm so glad the basting process was a bit smoother this time. My guess is that it will get easier every time.

Doesn't all this progress feel GOOD?!

Progress makes me happy. Unfortunately it also makes me not want to go to work but just stay home and play with my thread and fabric.

Also I think the binding ended up perfect, too! I am so glad I changed my mind about that.

Very nice looking quilt, Jewells! It turned out great. That backing material is really awesome.

That's a simultaneously fun and terrifying print on the back of the Linus quilt.. It's just so BRIGHT it's hard to imagine that winding up in someone's stash :D It does work out pretty great though, that's the best way to use those giant prints, I think, on quilt backs.

You're just rocking it on the quilting, aren't you :D That's awesome.

I love all the bright colors in the Granny Square Quilt. It's just so happy!

Charm Quilt: I had the hardest time find a binding that would look good next to the outside border on the front AND that crazy print on the back, which I just love, btw. Then I remembered that brown from Joann's. It's a Robert Kaufman tonal. It is perfect because it has two different shades of brown and totally works with both sides.

I wish I only worked part time. I would get so much more sewing done. I really want to make a quilt for myself now. Maybe I need to do something with some of these birthday blocks I have floating around, lol.

Thanks! Now if I could just get that sucker in the mail, baby could enjoy it, lol. Charm square quilt is in dryer as I type this... another August finish! Now my poor little senior Singer needs a little rest and cleaning and oiling. She was getting kind of grumpy while quilting the charm square one.

Thanks! I was on a roll so I figured, why not keep going? I ended up adding a bit more quilting in the open areas that were the farthest apart, but now the charm quilt is bound and washed and ready to turn in.

that's great - i had to keep the last comments brief. i was typing left handed while also holding a squirmy baby. I managed to get a bit more crafting done today, so i'm hoping to get a video done tomorrow and then hopefully have it edited and uploaded. I'm just trying to squeeze in a little crafting in each week so that it doens't get dropped by the wayside.

That is totally understandable. I need to get a baby gift made but I am not sure what to make. Don't really want to do a quilt for this coworker, but it's his second child so I'm not sure about things like bibs and/or burp cloths. I might just stencil a cute baby duck or something on a onesie.
