You and I need a weekend and a couple of bottles of wine and we could have SO MUCH fun in your room. ;)

Also, I still love that wall hanging. It's one of the crazier things I've made in less than a week. Heh.

Love the fabric, but the purse is just brilliant. It makes me think of something you would have carried when we were in college. I'd love to downsize, but since we have a single-use bag ban in Austin, half of my bag is stuffed with, you guessed it... more bags!

You have a trip coming up? Is that right?! :P

The purge continues. I talked to people at work that have kids/teens home for the summer and found some that a) like to make jewelry and b) like to glue and paint things. So three of my smaller bins will be off my shelf today. I'm going to start turning my project room into my sewing room, because, really, that's what it is, I almost never do anything else in there, why store all this stuff for years and years! I need to go through my knitting needle collection and get rid of some of those, too... soon, soon. I have the kind I like to use and the rest just sit around.

You can do this! It totally makes sense to make the room usable for what you actually want to use it for. Go, go, go!

That's really great fabric - I've seen some pretty amazing African fabric online, but I'd love to see something actually made out of it. Here's hoping you come up with an idea soon :D (And find the time! That's always the hard thing with me!)

I love the idea of using the panel to make patchwork. I think I am definitely going to try that.

The fabric is just great. My husband is from South Africa and when his family comes to visit I always want them to bring me fabric :) (they are non crafty folks and think fabric is silly).

The purse is great. It would be good for hikes and concerts and other places where you need to be hands free.

I've actually been using that purse and I love it. I just need to find a billfold/wallet I like to replace my daytimer, which I can do now that I finally have a smart phone.
