This blanket one is using all at least half-skeins that were leftover from other projects or donated. So a MUCH smaller # of ends to weave in since I'm carrying the yarn up the sides and only changing skeins when I'm close to running out.
That new scrapeater is looking good already. That afghan just seems to look awesome no matter what you put into it :D
Have fun organizing! I hope you manage it better than I do - I usually get half way done, then give up, thereby leaving myself in worse shape than I was to begin with :D

Which is awesome because it's eating up yarn AND not making me dread the finishing part, lol.
I haven't worked on the project room in days. I've kinda been waiting to find out if I'm getting my sister's cutting table or not. She promised it to someone else, but she starts moving into her new place this weekend and she said if the other person doesn't come get it it's mine, so I'm kind of waiting to get everything settled until I know what I'm going to have there. So of course, that means no sewing is getting done.
Got derailed by going through all my fabric Sunday night and then haven't worked back there since, sooooooooo kind of still a giant mess, lol. My daughter took her last final today, though so I can work on it when I come home on my lunch break if I want.
Your sewing cabinet/desk is beautiful! I always love those as a great place to put one's sewing machine while still being a nice piece of furniture.
Congratulations on having Jane the dressmaker's dummy! I hope you enjoy sewing clothing using her. It was so very nice of your sister to give her to you.
I'm sorry to hear about the felting in the blanket you put together. I think the resolution of making sure to ask if the recipient has allergies is a good one. Congratulations for being at 50% of your goal for Linus already, that is fantastic! The blankets are beautiful :)
I love the colors in the new blanket, it looks beautiful.
Thank you! I wasn't sure I could sew at this table because it is higher than I would like, but it's actually pretty comfortable. Not bad for 25 bucks off of craigs list.
