I wore my sweater the next day and noticed a snag on one elbow. :( So immediately I started imagining a crocheted elbow patch in a contrasting color.. I refuse to give this weater up! lol

You'll have to talk (eventually!) about how you like the q-snap frames.. I've never bought them either because I have other options, but I am curious about them. (They'd surely leave less lines in the fabric, for example, but I wonder how the tension holds up.)
Yes, I think when I finally get back to my DWSAL blocks I will give the small one a go, it might be small enough. The tension is what I'm most interested in as well. I seem to remember them being Shae's frame of choice when doing xstitching.
