So much for that embargo on buying fabric! My video is still processing but I need to get to work! Hopefully it will all sort itself out eventually. :D

Grrr! My camera did the same thing! What is with that!? Love the pillow cases! I have I think 3 pillow cases in my small projects bag that I need to get done. They go so fast so I'm not sure what has taken me so long to get them done! I need to find this Facebook group you guys keep talking about sounds like a good one.

UFO group is https://www.facebook.com/groups/UFOproject2014/292812250869144/?notif_t=group_activity

Join us, we complete things that have long gone uncompleted! :D Pren is the mastermind and she was brilliant to come up with this plan.

Ugh for your coworker! Yeah, I only know that you can't drive for a year after brain surgery because of watching CTFxC regularly. It feels like Charles was just able to start driving again and then he had to have brain surgery again ( ... )

The method I've been using to join these mass quantities of granny squares is http://carinascraftblog.wardi.dk/2009/06/granny-square-joining-tutorial.html It's fast and easy and makes it almost look like the whole thing was crocheted in one piece.

Every time I wear that sweater I tell myself "MUST REPLACE BUTTONS" and then I don't, lol.

Love those pillowcases, so easy. My new favorite go-to gift.

Yep, that's about right. It's like the camera decides you haven't pressed any buttons in a while, you must have forgotten to shut me off! Guess I'll just have to be less long-winded. ;) (using a canon also).

Aw, the pillowcase fabrics are GAWgeous! Definitely worth breaking the embargo for!

Good idea to ease off the Granny Squares. Crafty burnout is not what you need!

The pillowcases are so fun to make! Next I need to make some for my own family, lol.

Yeah, I think I am definitely going to put at least one or two kits together with a couple skeins of yarn to join them. They ought to get snapped up like hotcakes at that annual social.

The pillowcases are so cute. The colors look great together. I have them on my list to do, but i have quite a few things to work on before, but they look fun to make!

I have a black sweater that I love a little too much here. It is getting a little "gray" at this point so I think I'm going to have to dye it before too long. There is just something about having a go to sweater that matches everything.

Your birthday blocks are nice. I'm sure she will love them!

Glad your get well quilt was well received. I looked at the flickr album and it really is great.

The pillowcases are super-easy. The lat one I did I managed in under one hour! Once you start, you can't stop, lol.

I've been considering dying this sweater again, too, but for now the buttons all being there will be a vast improvement.

Thanks for the compliments on my blocks, I got them in the mail yesterday so I can move on to the Match birthdays now.

I'm so glad you were able to gift Greg's quilt and working part time in the imminent future, yay!

We have done a free-for-all day at my Linus group, but it's been aaages. I think we need to do that again...

I love your UFO for this month. Easy and totally practical, but I absolutely understand it taking forever to get to.

Yay, pillowcases! They are super cute!

Ok, I totally thought i cut that part of the video out about him working part time, so now I almost need to go watch it to see what ended up staying, since I edited it so fast!

This will be my first annual social to attend, something has always come up that day every year since I joined. I've heard some of the little old ladies on fixed incomes can be dangerous, lol.

You know, that sweater bugs me every time I wear it, yet I jut can't seem to get the darn buttons replaced. Something more "important" (i.e. INTERESTING) always comes up.

I keep forgetting to do my PSA about sewline pencils. I'll try to remember next week. I did tell the ladies at linus, they were glad to get the warning.

Oh, I hate when I do that! I've left stuff in on accident before. Very much a d'oh moment!!

The Sewline PSA is a very good idea. I don't think I've ever ironed over my lines, but still. *shudders* Hopefully it will wash out over time.

I was in such a hurry I honestly have no idea what I left in there at this point. Oh well. There was nothing too horribly personal I don't think.

I will try to remember my PSA for next week. I know I notice it more than anyone since I just know it's there, but still, it bugs me.
