I don't think I've ever seen Nancy Drew fabric before either - I bet my Mum would love that too, she used to collect all the old books. (I read most of them when I was young - I don't remember too much from them though!)

That striped panel is really neat!

Looks like you found lots of fun stuff on the shop hop :D (Damn them all for having so much good stuff, eh?)

I was just looking at the blocks you made for me up on Flickr - they look great!

Yeah, so much for my $20 max budget. *boom* went the budget.

Your pkg is going out today, I already did the label and paid the shipping online. It won't give me an estimated arrival date, though. I hope I entered all the address info correct, I've never done international using the online click n ship before. Thankfully when you do it online it comes with free email tracking updates.

From the email that it sent me, it looks mostly okay: the NE should be behind Street, rather than in from of Calgary. I imagine it'll get to me, though - it's not so far off.

Doesn't take much to blow a budget fabric shopping :D (At least not for me...)

I wondered about that. I thought since there was a comma in front of it on the BDay blocks swap spreadsheet that meant it should be on the next line below. The online customs form was confusing too, I wasn't sure which of the letter/number combinations was actually the "postal code". I hope it gets there!

Your hair was most definitely shorter last time we saw you!

*glomps*

The 80s are very retro right now, so you're totally in style. Have you seen the jeans at Target recently? They could have come out of my high school closet... anyway, I love scrunchies and wear them all the time. They are awesome, you scrunchie junkie! ;)

I knew you loved mysteries, but I didn't know about your love for Nancy Drew until you mentioned the fabric. Yay for finding something that you were so excited about!

Cat butt photobomb! Hee!

I love that floral panel. Very pretty!

Also, yay for all the Linus blankets!

I still have the books that were my grandmother's from the 30s, and then I have ones that I bought later from the same time period. I'm toying with the idea of putting some of the charm squares in the looking glass portion of your magnifying glass block from FiS and making at least several blocks that way... They are 5", think I could make that work?

I must have cut out maybe 5 minutes worth of me trying to get her to move without me actually picking her up. Crazy cat.

When did scrunchies go out of style? lol I am still wearing them. My favorite is my FSU scrunchie.

Well, out of style for adults, I guess. You still see them on little girls in dance class. All I know is that I LOVE them. Which I think is pretty obvious, lol. Maybe I'll make a few tomorrow. :D
