I have a bunch of lamps all pointed at wherever I am when I record, plus the overhead light. Sometimes, I correct the brightness just a tiny bit with Windows Live Movie Maker.
Here's a post I wrote some time ago about editing and watchability. Hope that helps!
I didn't know you could correct the brightness with WLMM, that's interesting.
I usually sit with my face to a window, with the curtains open, and a lamp pointed towards me. Even on slightly dreary days, at least if it's not dark outside, that seems to keep it bright enough.
Oh, I went and forgot to type comments as I was listening, which is always the best way for me to do it - I forget too much otherwise.
Well, I really like how that white afghan is turning out - it's very pretty. The Eiffel Tower turned out really well too. And the armadillo :D Which is creepy, but cute.
I bought him too! I've never seen a live armadillo, and I'm not sure I'd like to because they're just... weird and kind of creepy animals. But they're very cute in artistic representations :D
My grandparents were farmers and I still think of armadillos as those pests that dug up the potatoes and left giant holes all over the yard while you were sleeping, so I have a hard time thinking of them as anything positive, but dang it, he is cute, isn't he?
Young lady...weren't you taught that it's not nice to tease people...LOL!! Like the Eifel Tower block. Think it would be neat done in the different seasons as well as night and day. Might have to try that. Still gotta get the Texas Twofer with armadillo..will either do that tomorrow or Thursday. Just gotta get to library afterwards to print. Was going to message you too ask if it was okay to send signature blocks yet..but you answered that! Hope you have a really great week!
Woohoo! You got your shirt and signature blocks! Huzzah :D
I love your Texas blocks. I doubt I'll have occasion to purchase any of them, not being from or associated with Texas in any real, measurable way, but I may have to get the armadillo at some point. They're just such funky little animals, and they (like opossums) deserve love ^_^
Great Paris block! And I'm still loving the Linus 'ghan. Great colors, and you've got a nice stitch going! I have got to learn more in crochet than blasted chain stitch O_O
As always, so much awesomeness packed into one video! The eiffel tower is tres adorable!
Armadillos are cute in abstract, disgusting in reality. Don't they carry leprosy or something? Gross. But they always make cute little stuffed animals and quilt blocks, lol.
Fall is so crazy. I wish I had gotten more done this summer. *sigh*
Armadillos carry so many diseases, it's not even funny. I still think they're nasty, though I'm grateful that everyone seems to love the block so much!

I have a question. What kind of lighting to you use when you film your TTMT's! My TTMT's are usually very dark and I would like to change that.
Have a great week. I'm looking forward to seeing you blue scrappy Linus blanket! :o)

I do have plans for a dawn until dusk Eiffel wall hanging. Now I just need to figure out how to make TIME!
Thanks for picking up the Texas pattern, I hope you enjoy it!

I'm not really into Texas stuff, but so many people have asked me to do it, I thought I'd give it a whirl. So far, it's been pretty fun!
Sideways shell is the easiest of the easy! I have a TTMT floating around somewhere that has a mini tutorial in it...
