Oh my, that lap throw is amazing! I was trying to figure it out by looking at it, and it's almost like a cross between a granny ghan and a log cabin with regards to construction. Very cool.
The pattern is super simple! I had it done in just a few days with only working on it for about 2 hours at a time. Thinking of making maybe 2 more to send to Jen for Linus. They cost less than $10 for the yarn!
The name is..Drop in the Pond. Link to tutorial below. You can find the complete instructions in the description (I believe she post a link for it there).
Thank You dear!! Hard to believe it's been a year already! Like the mini books but definitely need the card stock paper for them to come out right..and it will be on sale at Joann's next week! Got one person so far willing to take the paper piecing challenge..hoping to get more! Lot's of different crafting stories out there. Thanks for sharing yours as well!
Hah! Oh my goodness, forever brownie is adorable! What a great idea :) and wow, what a lapghan! That's... really impressive. I can't do anything more than a wee chain stitch with my crochet O_O
I'm glad you're (at least looking and sounding) better!
