What a wonderful Geek Mom you are! The costumes look fantastic, and even though I don't get Gareth's costume reference, it's a pretty smashin' outfit! I'm particularly impressed by how smooth you got his face makeup to come out and how awesome his ears are! And of course you have an adorable Kagome (sp?).

He did a lot of research on which makeup to use and we ended up with Snazaroo. He put it on himself, I just helped with the back of his neck. He took three years of theater in middle school and they did makeup work...it shows!

Kagome has worked hard to be so cute and svelte. I'm super proud of her!

How cute and fun! It must've been a blast to sit there and watch all the characters go by. Even though there was only one Tonks. :/

The trolls look like they know how to have a good time. ;)

There's something so awesome seeing a bunch of people, all ages, wandering around a city in full costume and makeup. When I dropped off and picked up Phebe and her friend from ABQ Comicon last month it was downtown at the convention center, and it was just so amazing seeing people at the crosswalks or eating a hotdog in their costume, lol.

Wow your kids' costumes looked great!! What did you use to make Gareth's skin grey? Alot of other people were grey too!

Thanks! Yep, the costume Gareth was wearing was one of many from that fandom. Apparently, it's really popular right now.

I think Elena will enjoy hearing she looks like me! Almost everyone says she looks like her dad, which she doesn't mind, but it does get old when you've heard it your whole life!
