I really need to get to work on the TABABOM blocks, I really want to get to work on them, even. Maybe next week. Or when I get another weekend off work.
Nice to see still more stars for linus :D You've got some really great looking ones.
"The worst thing is hot melt gluing something 10 minutes before they walk out the door". THAT describes me just about every year, only it's not a repair, it's me actually still constructing the costume, lol.
I think the sampler is a great idea, because your brain NEEDS something with no deadlines or even a purpose other than, "because it's there".
I'm hoping the stitches are there, I just haven't had a chance to check. My machine came home from "the doctor" yesterday afternoon. Fingers crossed! :)
We had a huge donation a few years ago and used it to buy a HandiQuilter, which lives at the house of my friend and fellow Board member, Marge. It's been such a fantastic addition to our organization and allows us to accept more quilt tops than we did before. We have several volunteer long-arm quilters, too. We're one of the few blanket charities that will take tops. They'll do the larger tops that won't fit on our HQ, which is set up to do quilts that are approximately 50" wide. It's an awesome resource for us! We even have a group of volunteers that will do binding once they're quilted. Yay!
I poked around at the craft store yesterday and I think the thread I'm using is a crochet cotton 10. There were several of a very similar weight. I got this one in a bunch of stuff someone gave me and it wasn't labeled, so I had no idea what it was!
For several years we only had one or two trick-or-treaters, so we bought barely any candy this year, and we had about 50! I was running around all over the house to find treats to give out!

The sampler has been really enjoyable. I've gotten three of the letters done...it's just very zen to work on.

That is a really nicely-designed stencil on Courtney's sponsor tee.
And those signature blocks are going to make a great quilt, too! I hope you do get everybody's before December. :)

I received your package after I filmed, thank you! I'll probably be taking it to my friend Marge to quilt on the Linus long-arm.
I've had a few messages that there are more signature blocks coming. As long as I know they're on the way, I'm happy to wait a little.

Glad you got the package! What a nice option to have access to a long-arm! Jealous! :)
