This should have been posted on Monday night, but YouTube was giving me problems. Thus, a little late, but it compensates for its lateness in general bizarre-iocity (<-- yes, this is a word)!
Too Cute! I haven't heard anything about that book, but may look into it. It looks like you are having fun with it. Your shirt looks good to me. You did a nice job on that logo, there were some small parts there.
Heh! Aww, thanks. It was a bizarre look, but when I wore it to book club, by the end of the night everyone said I was starting to look "normal." Weird!
You mustmustmustMUST read THG! The writing isn't phenomenal by itself, but the story itself and the sheer shock value of it all is pretty incredible. Do tell when you start!!
The video quality isn't great, maybe with the colour it's a bit weirder, but the shape of it suits your face for sure :D
Well, it's sitting on the desk shelf next to me, but I'm mid-way through two other books right now. So perhaps when I finish them, I'll start in on The Hunger Games. Anyway, I'll try to remember to talk about it when I do.
I thought about you this week because I got a plea from someone to create a paper pieced pattern from the Hunger Games book cover, which I did. So many tiny pieces! Now, of course, I want to do the other two covers... If I could just quilt literature for the rest of my life, I would be so very content.
Gareth introduced me to The Hunger Games last year. It was part of his 6th grade TAG curriculum. They talked a lot about how their lives would be different if there was a lottery in our world that could take kids away from their families. It was a Our whole family ended up reading the series one after another. We talked about who mattered most to us and if we'd be willing to take their place at a reaping. Loads of good conversations came out of that series!

I haven't read The Hunger Games (and all the rest) yet - I got them for Christmas, but I've been kind of non-ready lately.

I had to kind-of skip over some of your video because I wanted to make sure that there were no spoilers.
