Thanks, she said knitting was "a mystery" because she didn't know how to knit, so I decided to knit her something. My first time with those booties, will definitely use that pattern again.
I know I'll catch up eventually, but if I fret about it it won't be fun, so I just take my crafting as it comes, you know?
Thanks! She said she didn't know how to knit, and I know she crochets, so I decided to knit her something out of super soft cotton. I wanted to model it on a doll, but my daughter got rid of her cabbage patch dolls last year, lol.
I'm "trying" not to buy any more fabric until I really don't have any that will work, and that white was the only one I had enough of to do that block, so it was an easy choice. ;) The red actually came in a bag of scraps from the quilt store. I love scrap bags.
Thanks! The hat and booties were a quick knit (as quick as I can be anyway- not very) once I found someone else who had done the pattern and could explain the vague instructions.
And I <3 hedwig. I was so happy to get it done and not have any pieces backward!

You are farther along than I am on the PoD. I'm on Block 7. :0|
I feel like I'm back in school leaving everything till the last minute. Ah well, it will be a fun kind of "cramming" :o)

You are so good at keeping my birthday going IN MY MIND!
I'm in a weird mood today, too, but it's much better than the one I've been in!

The yarn was 100% cotton but so soft! It's Plymouth Yarns Sweet Caroline.
Happy Birthday Eve! IN MY MIND!

I really like your fabric choices for your PoD block. If I haven't mentioned before, I really like your background fabric.
I feel weird, too. ;P
