UFO Deadline Challenge!
clumsy_chord and I have been having a fantastic conversation about finishing projects and how it's easier to finish a project with a deadline than without. We thought having a deadline would be a great idea for a challenge!
The Challenge:
Choose one of your UFOs (UnFinished Object*) to complete by January 3. It can be anything you've worked on that is NOT finished that you feel like you CAN finish by January 3, 2011...if you have a deadline!
*EDITed to add - on the off chance that you do not have a UFO *laughs hysterically at the very idea*, you definitely can start a new project...so don't let UFO-lessness stop you!
Post a video anytime in the next couple of weeks showing the UFO you have chosen to work on. Post it here on ttmt and tag it "UFO deadline challenge start"
Complete the project, giving us updates along the way! On or before Tuesday, January 4, 2011 January 25, make a video about your finished project. Post it here on ttmt with the tag "UFO deadline challenge finish"

Because we all know each other here, we'd like each person that participates to help out by donating a small prize. It can be anything, a skein of yarn, a small handmade item, anything you'd like to add to the Deadline Challenge Prize Pool of Awesome. (Please note that this is a request, but not a requirement for the Challenge). Hold on to your prize item...
On Tuesday, January 11, 2011, I will collect all the names of TTMTers that have completed the challenge (ie, posted a tagged video with a completed project). I will draw a name during my ttmt that day and the winner will be announced. All of you wonderful people that are sharing a prize will then receive a pm from me with the winning person's address. The winner will (potentially!) receive mail from all over the world!
Talk about your project as much as you choose on upcoming ttmts. Show us the prize you picked and/or made. In short, Talk To Us!
