[The hand is still overtop Glaukir's fist and for a moment he feels an urge to turn his hand over in Remy's grasp. If he ignores what the hand is connected to, it's just like a woman's hand. His hand moves a fraction of an inch before he stops himself.
Weak. Pathetic.]
I--kissed you.
[He takes a breath, closing his eyes for a moment.]
And you responded. I don't see how any of that is your fault.
[Glaukir withdraws both his hands to his lap, breathes out a tight breath.]
I--appreciate that you're trying to make this easy on me, my friend, but you're blameless here. You didn't do anything one friend wouldn't do for another.
You're very kind.
[He reaches forward and takes his glass of sake, drains it.]
[Remy takes his sake and drinks it as well. Not his favorite, but still pretty good. He gives a sigh as he's called kind.]
Glaukir...I will never blame you for it. I can't. If you want forgiveness, then fine, I forgive you. Hell, I'm not even angry at you for it. Angry for being caught off my guard, yeah, but not at you.
[Glaukir smiles, lopsided, and looks up through his shaggy hair at the man. His conscience is eased significantly by the forgiveness given to him and the set of his shoulders relax.]
[Remy has a little more sake and then offers a smirk to Kir. The tension had been completely lifted. It eased him to know they were still friends and really, hadn't ever stopped.]
I'm glad to hear that. Hope he didn't think I went anywhere. I mean, he still has to go costume shopping with me, you know?
He's sneaky, though. You'd better keep an eye on him.
[Glaukir smiles as all the tension melts away. One of the bears has brought over a platter of raw fish and sets it down between the two men. Glaukir picks up a piece of seaweed as is his people's custom and uses it to pick up a piece of the fish. He pops it into his mouth.]
[Remy laughs as he simply grabs a piece of sushi and pops it in his mouth. He hadn't gotten the hang of eating with the sticks yet. Maybe he should ask Hajime to teach him. He chews, swallows and smiles]
Don't worry. I don't intend on letting him go anywhere. Hell, he'll probably be sick of me soon.
I don't think he will. He's informed me he's glad to have such a good friend.
[Glaukir's grinning again, looking at Remy with a slightly stupid expression on his face. A memory passes through his head, his lips on Remy's neck, hands on Remy's back, the sound of Remy sighing his name--
Oh is he now? Next time you talk to him, let him know I feel the same.
[He laughed again as he finished talking. Words came out so easily when he was talking to Glaukir. Words and trust. Trust was an odd one. It was refreshing to finally be able to trust someone new. He gave a content sigh and smile before eating another piece of fish.]
If you need help convincing him, tell him that I have a lot of alcohol. Usually works.
[Remy take the suggested fish and eats it. He nods. It's flavor is good and he'll have to remember it for next time. He himself took a piece of albacore and set it in front of Glaukir]
[He takes the albacore and pops it into his mouth. It's slightly bitter and he doesn't like the texture, but Glaukir's too polite to do something gauche like make a face. He swallows it and washes the taste out of his mouth with more sake.]
Very nice. I'm not sure if it's for me, though. What is this green stuff?
[Remy looks down at the glob of wasabi and remembers his first encounter with it. He learned quickly why so little of it was given and that it took a lot of tea to calm one's taste buds down.]
Don't know what it's called but it is extremely spicy. I can only handle a small amount. Try it. It's pretty good on...
[Remy looks over the selection and grabs a shrimp.]

That was entirely my fault, Kir. If I hadn't been so damn stubborn and barged in it never would have happened. You're not to blame, my friend.

No, that's what I'm supposed to be saying. I kissed you first.

[Another piece of fish into his mouth. Delicious. He grabs a fresh piece of seaweed and takes up a chunk of salmon, delivering it onto Remy's plate.]
Here, try this type of fish. It's really good.

This one's my favorite, I've found.
