It's funny that people are responding to Erol's "news". A lot of us have known this since Shayn and Asad died and I've talked about it on open channels on more than one occasion. Besides, it's not like the crew have told you you're going home. Quite the opposite. They've always said you can't.
It's easier to pretend it's not true and forget about it ... I used to think lying to people was always wrong, but now I see that it's easier on some people.
I'm glad to know ... at least now I know what not to wait for.
I have known since I arrived, although the mechanics of it are still...confusing. I am from further ahead in my world's timeline than anyone on the ship save for GT Blitz, and even he only has a couple months beyond my memory. If the world had been destroyed, it seems to me that we should all originate from more or less the same point.
Unless, of course, it was destroyed at some point after we were all taken, in which case I think everyone is overreacting. I thought it was a fairly common belief that all things die eventually, worlds included.
