Well isn't this interesting ... I wonder. Does this mean the ship is breaking? Or does Redd just do this for fun? Has anyone seen if the crew change when these things happen?

I ... uh ... no ... if the system broke I think we'd just disappear ...

[She had a hard time explaining that she didn't think they were actually here. That they were just copies here, echoes, remnants of their selves that were rescued from the cosmic floatsam left after whatever happened to the universe. Kate's own mind couldn't grasp those thoughts and put them into anything cohesive. That was the trouble without knowing much about science.]
